All thanks goes to Dr. Ramen Goel. My weight before surgery was 125 Kg and frequently experienced severe knee pain. I was suffering from breathlessness and could barely walk 10 steps at a stretch. I was on medicines for hypertension, and getting onto a stage where I was a borderline diabetic.

When my daughter and I were walking in a mall, things got ugly when I started profusely sweating and got breathless. That’s when my family decided I should do something drastic about reducing my weight. In my next visit to India, we met with Dr. Ramen Goel and within 2 days decided to get the surgery done.

Today, after 11 months of surgery, I have lost more than 45 kgs, other than my vitamins and calcium supplements I do not take any other medicines. I can walk for 2-3 miles every day and swim for about 45 minutes continuously. The surgery and the weight loss has benefitted in more than one dimension of my life. I am happier, confident and ready to take new challenges in my life!
