DESCRIPTION

In the last few years, many organizations have adopted the concept of PMO (Project Management Office) as part of their strategic development. It is considered that PMO can add values to their business, operations, and certainly to the improvement of their project deliveries. We have witnessed many professionals started to learn how to establish the PMO function/unit within their organizations.

Project Management Institute through its standards has also underlined the importance of such function to the organization strategic objectives, and encourages many project managers to go further in taking PMO as part of their strategic project portfolio management initiatives.

With this COPM with PMO workshop our facilitators will deliver 5 online sessions of Professional PM program followed by 4 online sessions of Impactful PMO program. With this program the participants will be learn how to manage the project properly and how then they can contribute in the development and the management of their PMO functions.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This workshop will offer participants with the knowledge on how to manage a project based on PMBOK® Guide issued by Project Management Institute (PMI)® and also add them with the knowledge and practices on how to work within Project Management Office (PMO) framework.

After this workshop, the participants will:

• Understand the PMBOK® Guide standards and processes in managing project.

• Be able to apply the tools and techniques of managing project.

• Use PMBOK® Guide to help their actual projects.

• Planning and developing PMO

• Leveraging Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

• Analyzing Portfolio and Project progress

• Etc.
