Cause Play Karma

Let's say 30 diverse people of Chennai come together for a one-day mobile photography workshop. The event will be facilitated by MR Surya Chidambaram, An Entrepreneur with a keen passion for iphonegraphy. And here's how this brings possibilities to reality - the proceeds will be used for the operations of transgender community Sahodaran. At the end of the session, the collected funds will be given to the representative of Sahodaran.  

About Sahodaran :

Sahodaran was founded in 1996 and got registered in 1998 by Sunil Menon.C. Since then Sahodaran has been a leader in the LGBTIQ community in Southern India. We currently run two drop-in centers and four sister organizations. We also employ 20 full-time staff, 64 part-time staff, and 250 volunteers that include physicians, advocates, academicians, and researchers.

Sahodaran presently works on VETRIYAI NOKKI THIRUNANGAIGAL an event organized to promote and honor the talent of transgenders of Tamil Nadu and to honor various supporters who have been behind the success of many transgenders. These supporters are from various sectors like government officials, parents of transgenders, the media, youth, members of the rotary club and lion club, higher authorities of NGO’s and CBO’s.

A Cause. A Play to further it. Karma? Of course.

6:00 AM - 6:10 AM

Photo walk begins with a speech from (Ratheesh Krishnan, Apsara Reddy, and Surya Chidambaram).

6:10 AM - 6:50 AM

Walkthrough the street and then make a stop at kalathi for refreshing rose milk and walk continues throughout The Market at SOUTH MADA STREET.

Walk all along the SOUTH MADA STREET and to reach Sri Ramakrishna mutt and head towards the R.K Mutt Road.

Turn right and walk towards NORTH MADA STREET. Turn right again to reach the pond (Golu, flower market).

7:55 AM - 8:00 AM

Slight detour for snacks at Jannalkadai and then back to Kapaleeshwarar temple. And then go to the breakfast point at Rayer Mess.
