Weight Loss was always one of the most searched topics online, but ever since the lockdown, losing weight at home has become ever so popular, possibly because all of a sudden everyone started to gain weight due to their new, sedentary lifestyle.

With lockdown, we have been hearing people piling on kilos because they cannot step out and are losing whatever little motivation, they had regarding weight loss. Townscript Originals have decided to bring this change and help in reducing weight and burning calories during lockdown by bringing in a very innovative challenge for you "Burn It Up - 7 Days Calories Burning Challenge".

Concept

"Burn It Up" will be a point-based challenge where you will be earning points based on the calories burned by you. The aim is to see how many calories you can burn in a week. We want you to stay safe, stay healthy so to complete this challenge we'll be adding up the points as per the number of calories you burn when exercising.

"To Earn you must Burn"

1.) To earn 1 Point you must burn calories equivalent to your weight.
2.) To earn 2 Points you must burn double the number of calories to your weight.
3.)  To earn 3 Points you must burn triple the number of calories to your weight.

If A weighs 80Kgs, in order to earn 1 point A should burn the exact amount of calories to his/her weight.

All you need to do is sign up for this challenge, you can do any fitness activity that helps you in burning your calories Eg. Running, Walking, Cycling, Normal Workout, Track the number of calories burnt by you and finally share the screenshot of the tracker with us.

The leaderboard will be updated daily as per the calorie burn data shared with us. 

The one with the maximum points on the last day of this challenge will be declared as the Winner and will be awarded the title of "Burned and Earned"

All the Finishers will receive an E-Certificate to celebrate their accomplishment.  If you are interested in some real Swag consider upgrading for the Finisher Medal to celebrate your accomplishment.


Rules and Regulations:- 

1.) Burn It Up will be a 7 Day Points-Based Challenge starting from 31st August 2020 06:00hrs to 6th  September 2020 10:00 hrs
2.) The Maximum points that can be earned in the day will be capped at 5 Points.
3.) All the activities logged will be capped at 1hour only, if you are logging activity of more than 1hour it won't be counted.
4.) To be considered as a finisher you need to have 25 Points at the end of this challenge.
5.) You can share the data with Townscript Originals through a Google Form which will be linked to your ticket confirmation mail under "UPLOAD YOUR CALORIES BURNED"
6.)  You can do any workout and can record it via Strava, Garmin, Nike Run Club, Fitbit or a smartwatch that calculates calories burned.
