World Bicycle Day RIDE 2021

International World Bicycle Day is celebrated on June 3 every year. The resolution for World Bicycle Day recognizes "the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries, and that it is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transport."

Every day, and all around the world, people are doing good by simply choosing to cycle. Whether for personal reasons, such as health, freedom, independence; for the environment, by choosing a sustainable and active mobility mode over motorized transport; or to help others, by visiting a friend, grocery shopping for family, or transporting their kids to play in the park. This campaign aims to make such acts of kindness visible – and celebrate them around the world, connecting cyclists and stories with valuable social impact on #WorldBicycleDay.

Let's celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of Cycling On this World Bicycle Day, so that we can live in a healthy & clean environment.

Guidelines:

1. Ride as per your convenience and government guidelines on any day between 3-6 JUNE 2021 to get qualified for WORLD BICYCLE DAY RIDE 2021

2. After you register, the confirmation details will be sent to you via e-mail. You can Ride using Garmin, Strava, RunKeeper, Nike running, Runtastic or whichever app / Watch to track your activity from any place and submit data with proof on the given link.

3. Link for Data Submission will be given 1 day before the Event Date. Data can be submitted on a given link till 7th June 2021 midnight. Participant can ride multiple times, but he or she will be allowed to submit only one ride activity as per the category selected during registration.

4. Data submission is MANDATORY (Strictly No Exception allowed).

5. On successful completion of data submission, Team will verify the data & provide the Finisher E-certificate based on your stats within a week after the data submission deadline closure.

6. Top 3 fastest Indian Male/Female in 100k Race category will be rewarded with specially designed winners’ trophy & gift hamper. For 100k Race, rider has to select Ride Type as Race after finishing the activity in Strava. Elapsed Time will be considered for the Race, so the activity has to be done in single shot without break/pause. If anyone wishes to pause, it’s absolutely fine, but for the result declaration Total Elapsed time will be considered. Organizer decision will be final in terms of dispute if any arises.

7. Participants must follow and adhere to all prevailing COVID-19 guidelines/Government Rules (GR) that the Government of India or the respective State Government/s enforce with regards to public lockdown, social distancing, public gathering etc. The Event promoters/their employees/Event Sponsors/Event Partners/their associates will not be responsible for actions or the consequences arising out of participant’s failure to follow any such guidelines/GR.

8. Do not participate if you have any medical conditions. Event organizers/promoters are not responsible for your health and safety.

9. Event promoters will not be held responsible for any discrepancy/ error in activity data collected from the suggested apps/method of auto integration or failure to receive activity data from the suggested apps, from the participant for any reason.

-> Tickets are non-refundable & non-transferable.

-> Takeaways (T-shirt, Physical Medal, E certificate) will be delivered according to your selected ticket only.

-> The E-Certificate will be sent to you within the first week after the closure of data submission date.

-> The medal/t-shirt/(Event Kit) will be delivered to you within 30 - 45 Days after the data submission deadline closure. The Event Kit will be delivered in India only.

10% of Fees will go to National Defence Fund. NDF is used for the welfare of the members of the Armed Forces (including Para Military Forces) and their dependents.
