County Cork Beekeepers Association Beekeeping Beginners Course March 2020.

Skibbereen, Co Cork.

This is a FIBKA approved beekeeping course in conjunction with "Fastnet Area Beekeepers Association"

To be held over 4 Sunday afternoons (from 2pm to 4.30pm) beginning March 1st 2020 the course will cover the following topics.

• Beekeeping and What it entails
• Workings of a bee colony
• Pollen and Nectar Sources
• Beekeeping equipment
• Controlling bees and working for honey
• Harvesting Honey
• Keeping bees healthy and solving problems
• Where to go from here
