About the Artist:

Savita Iyer (@urbankala_art_of_gifting) is a quintessential Mumbaikar who is the brain behind Urbankala- Art of Gifting, after her 10 year long career as a Texturing & Lighting Expert in the VFX and animation industry. The artist who works on the painted/sculpted merchandise at Urbankala.Spreads art through her workshops pan India.

About Pattachitra Art:

Pattachitra is a traditional painting of Odisha, India. These paintings are based on Hindu mythology and specially inspired by Jagannath and Vaishnava sect. 

In this workshop they will learn to draw these traditional art  and , paint them using a particular color palatte and learn to do the detailing.

Materials Required:

• Paper or canvas
• Colors- acrylic or watercolors
• Pencil, eraser
• Microns of black pens for outline
• 0 number brush for outlines
• 3 - 6 number brush for filling colors.
• One flat brush for wash
