Overview about the workshop:
Chatbots, AI, and Voice Assistants are increasing in popularity as innovative and cool technologies. Yes, it is going to lead us into the future. We are already seeing businesses investing heavily on chatbots/ voicebots to decrease the load on their call centers as well as exploring this as another channel to increase sales, marketing, and service.
These days, building a bot is fairly easy, but designing conversations is the tricky part. Furthermore, building an omnichannel and NLP agnostic conversational platform which empowers chatbots is even harder. A platform manages all conversational experiences in one place and leverages configurable NLPs, Channels etc.
In this mini-workshop, Sujay Asre will start with the basics of chatbots and conversational design, followed by dialogflow (NLP) concepts like Intents, Entities, Parameters, Context Sharing across Intents etc. He will also show the integration of chatbots with the Facebook messenger platform. Once, the concepts are a bit clearer, he will develop a simple chatbot using dialogflow as NLP, Facebook messenger as a channel and a sample springboot application for a transactional flow.
By the end of the session, participants will have hands-on experience in developing a bot using a simple springboot application which can be hosted in any cloud provider, dialogflow as NLP and Facebook messenger as a channel.
Sujay will also show and explain a sample architecture to build an omnichannel and NLP agnostic platform which can easily scale at each and every component level. He will also provide an overview of the creation of reusable conversational components and patterns which are unheard of until now.
Key takeaways for the audience include:
1. Deep Understanding of Dialogflow concepts
2. Understanding Facebook Messenger platform
3. New Concept of “Conversation Components”
4. Learn how to build Omnichannel and NLP agnostic conversational Platforms
5. Hosting springboot application on cloud services.
