How to change or reset your
Gmail account password. You can do this on desktop, iPhone, and Android versions of Gmail. If you've forgotten your password, you can use Google's reset form to change the password.
Using the Gmail App on an iPhone or iPad
1- Open Gmail. It’s the red and white envelope icon, typically found on the home screen.
If you don't know your password, reset your password instead.
2- It's at the top-left corner of the screen. A menu will expand.
3- Scroll down and tap Settings. It’s toward the bottom of the menu.
4- Select your account. Tap the account for which you want to change the password.
5- Tap Manage your Google Account. It's at the top of the page.
6- Tap Sign in & security. It’s near the top of the page.
7- Tap Password. It’s the first option in the menu. Doing so will open the login field.
8- Enter your current password and tap Sign in. It’s the blue button at the bottom of the screen. This takes you to the ″Password″ page.
9- Enter your new password twice. Type your new password into the "New password" text box, then re-enter it in the "Confirm new password" text box.
10- Tap CHANGE PASSWORD. It's a blue button at the bottom of the page. Doing so changes your password.
