RAJ MACHI Day Ride

At Thunderbikes we encourage group motorcycle rides in Maharashtra. After many successful day rides in Maharashtra and adventurous Bike expedition to Ladakh and Bhutan, we present to you the first ride in 2016. Raj Machi !!!!

About Raj Machi - 

The Shrivardhan fort and Manaranjan Fort are located at the village Udhewadi, around 17 Kms from Lonavla. 

Historically, Rajmachi fort was a strategic fort to control Borghat (ghat between Khopoli and Khandala on Mumbai-Pune route) which was a historical trade route. Its one of the many beautiful destinations in the Sahyadris.

Ride starts on beautiful Saturday morning - 30th Jan at 06:30 AM SHARP from Pune @ Cafe Goodluck, Deccan, Riders from Mumbai will join Pune Riders at Lonavala Breakfast Point.

Total Kms that we will ride – 160 Kms 

Meetup for Mumbai Riders - Lonavla 9:00 AM

Cost: INR 550 (Covers breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea)

Difficulty Level: Moderate (with one tough off-road patch)

The Plan :

Have an early start and reach Lonavla for Breakfast. 

Ride ahead to reach Udhewadi around noon. Explore the fort and Shiv Mandir and return to base for a delicious local lunch. Start riding back after leisure time and return to Pune/Mumbai by 6:30 pm. 

The Route: 

Pune-Old Mumbai Pune highway-Lonavla-Udhewadi-Lonavla - Pune/Mumbai.
